Here are the features of a biography:
In the video the teacher goes through these features, but if you are not sure what they mean here is an explanation:
1. Emotive language - This includes words and phrases designed to trigger the readers emotions e.g, David Beckham was a motivated young footballer.
2. Parenthesis - This is extra information usually in brackets or commas. e.g David Beckham (aged 13)
3. Rhetorical questions - Questions designed to make the reader think. e.g. How can this be?
4. Writing in the 3rd person - Nouns/names or pronouns like he/him she/her or they are used NOT I.
